Rather than using an Extension # e88YR you might consider using a extended ball mount. We have a couple different lengths depending on how much distance you will need to your Dolly # DM9713093. The distances listed below are from the center of the hitch pin to the center of the hole for mounting a hitch ball.

15-3/4" Ball Mount # 80232
13" Ball Mount # C45270
11" Ball Mount # 40345

If you can provide me with some more information about the length you need and what size ball your dolly takes along with the drop or rise you need to keep the dolly level I can help you determine exactly what you will need Tom.

@Tom You are going to have a few options listed below with a 10"-11" drop. The lengths listed below are from center of hitch pin to center of ball mount. I the distance from the hitch pin hole to the rear of the shank is not always the same for all receivers so you will need to find the difference. 11" Drop, 9" Long # 80248 10" Drop, 11-1/2" Long # AMSC10 10" Drop, 10-1/2" Long # BM10 All these will accept the 2" Ball # C54CR
