Best Trailer Hitch for a Bus with 39" Frame Rail Spacing
Question:
Hi, I’m looking for a Class 4 Hitch to bolt onto my Bus. The 2.5” wide frame rails are 39” on center bolt spacing. Can you tell me what models fit? Thanks

Thanks for reaching out, Andrew!
The best solution for adding a hitch to your bus is the Curt Class 5 Universal Weld-on Hitch w/ Brackets # C99CR since there aren't any custom options for your bus. Since this is a weld-on installation you'll need to have an experienced welder do the installation to make sure it is capable of safely towing your trailer.

Thanks but I think I’ll go with my original request, the Curt #14301 class 4 w/ 39” bolt spacing.
