Front Suspension Enhancement For A 2011 Ford F-350 With A 2" Lift

Question:

I have a 2011 f350 crew cab short box king ranch with 6.7 with 2inch front leveling kit. I am looking to add spring supports to the front for a heavy duty bumper add 300lbs and front hitch that might support up to 500lbs additional. Which of the sumo kits would you recommend?

We do have a potential option for you, but since your 2011 Ford F-350 has a 2" lift, you really will not be able to use a SumoSpring kit. The 2" lift will likely create too much of a gap and the spring would have little to no effect on the front suspension. Since there are no lift spacer available for SumoSprings, this really is not a practical option.

What I recommend instead is the Timbren Front Suspension Enhancement System # TFF350SDC. You can use a few 1" spacers # TA25723-90AD00 to compensate for the lift. The idea is to have a 1/2" to 1-1/2" gap between the rubber spring and the contact point when empty. These have a 3,000 lb capacity which will be more than enough to support the front end of your truck even with the extra heavy-duty bumper and added weight from the front hitch. The Timbrens really are made specifically for trucks with heavier front ends (like a front hitch and snow plow), so this is the best option we can offer.

I have linked our review video for the Timbren Front Suspension Enhancement System below.
