Can The Dexter DX7.5L A-60XL Brake Actuator w Electric Lockout # DX43FR Be Bolted On?
Question:
Does this have to be welded on or could it be bolted on to the tongue of the trailer?

Expert Reply:
The Dexter DX7.5L A-60XL Brake Actuator w Electric Lockout # DX43FR is designed to be welded on as the outer member is only primed. Once welded you can paint the outer member and the tongue. We do have similar units like the # DX56FR which are predrilled and zinc coated for superior corrosion resistance. This is a much better option if you are able to bolt the coupler to your existing 3" wide trailer tongue.
