Video Transcript for Griots Garage Wheel Cleaner Review

Hey guys, it's Jake here at Etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at and I'm going to show you how to use the Griot's Garage Wheel Cleaner. To start out using this, you're going to want to clean your wheel. Clean it off any contaminants, here we just have some water, we're going to clean all the loose dirt and debris off of it. Probably not going to be able to get much of that brake dust off of it, but that's where the wheel cleaner comes into play. So now we can take our wheel cleaner and start spraying our wheel down. And after you have the whole wheel coated, you're going to want to let it sit for at least a minute. Then after the minute has passed you can take a gentle bristle brush.

Griot's Garage does have a wheel brush specifically designed to fit in tight grooves like that and you can find those here at Etrailer. Now you do want to make sure you do this close to that one minute mark because you don't want to let the product dry on your wheels. And then once you got them all scrubbed up then you can take your water again and rinse them. Now a little helpful tip that I've found very useful, it makes a lot easier to clean your wheels is if you don't clean your wheels in the sun, you're going to have a lot more time and you can move at your own pace to be able to clean them without the sun drying the product. As you can see there on the ground, that dirt and brake dust and debris that was on our wheels just washing away. And after you've got them all hosed down and I want to dry them off with a clean rag.So as you can see when we're using it's easy to wash away, it's easy to use and it's going to be non acidic. So it's going to be safe on your wheels and on the pavement that you're washing it on.This wheel cleaner is going to be available in the 22 ounce bottle, which is what we have here.

It's going to be a spray bottle, a 35 ounce bottle which is a little bit larger bottle and you can pick it up in a gallon size. If you pick up one of the two smaller sizes first, and you want to just go ahead and pick up the gallon because you find out you like it. You can just refill these bottles with the gallon. With the spray bottle, you are going to have two different types of spray. You're going to have a jet stream style where it's going to spray straight at the wheel or you can switch it over to more of a mist style. And you're going to be able to cover more of the wheel faster with that and not go through as much product. So one thing that I really liked about this wheel cleaner is that it's not only going to be very safe to use on your wheels, but it's going to have an aroma that is kind of fruity.

It's not going to have those harsh bleach smells that other cleaners might have. Well with all that being said, that's going to do it for our look at the Griot's Garage Wheel cleaner..
