Yes, you will. It is state law in most states and also all Canadian providences. It doesn't matter if you live in one of the few states that do not require one because you'll need it driving through the ones that do.

For ease of install you are wanting to go with a portable system. The best one for your 2007 Honda Accord is going to be the Blue Ox Patriot Radio Frequency, Portable Braking System item # BLU37TR. This easy to install system sits on the floor of your Accord and rests against your driver's seat. It has an articulating arm that attaches to the brake pedal that applies the brakes in proportion to the force your RV is stopping or slowing.

The Blue Ox Patriot item # BLU37TR operates remotely and uses a 12V power supply. This system will interchange between vehicles and can be installed or removed in minutes.

I have linked a couple of installation and review videos below so you can see how to get it set up.

Here are some other parts you will need to flat tow your 2007 Honda Accord:

Tow Bar and Safety Chains - etrailer SD Non-Binding Tow Bar item # e47ZR

Base Plate Kit - Blue Ox Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms item # BX2242

Wiring Harness - Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit item # RM-15267

High Low Adapter - The tow bar needs to be within 3" of level. If you measure the height of the inside top of the hitch receiver tube on your RV, and the height difference is more than 3 inches above/below the base plate tab height, you'll need a high/low adapter. I have linked a FAQ article that explains all this in more detail along with our selection of adapters.
