Wiring In A Fogatti RV Tankless Water Heater

Question:

Setting up Fogatti tankless water pro shower 8. I have it installed water, lines attached, and gas attached.. power switch is on, I’m just not sure if the wiring is right in the unit is not powering on. From the battery, the 12v wiring that went into the previous suburban water heater has a white wire, a red wire, end of blue on one side and white on one side Wire.. Just to at least make sure I have the wiring right? Which of these wires would be the positive that I would connect to the black and which one would be the ground that I would connect to the white wires coming out of the water heater?

The manufacturer of the Fogatti RV Tankless Water Heater # LSB64FR has sent out models with either a black or white wire for ground, red for 12v positive, and two blue wires to connect to the wall thermostat. You can test the wires in the trailer for power with a multimeter # PT89ZR to see which is your power wire, most likely it's the red wire. The ground wire will likely be white, but you'd have to physically trace it in order to find out its function. The other wires should be for the old thermostat and could be reused if you place the new thermostat in the same location.

This unit also has a fuse and on/off switch on it (pictured below) so you'll want to check that the fuse isn't blown and that the switch is in the on position.
