Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock C23519 is Frozen and Will Not Unlock
Question:
After a rough winter my lock is frozen. Although I can get the key in the lock it will not turn. Looking for suggestions.

Expert Reply:
There is likely some corrosion inside the lock that is preventing the mechanism from working properly. You can get some spray lubricant and spray it in the lock through the key hole and let it soak for 15 minutes and try again.
If this does not work after several rounds then you will either need to have a locksmith unlock it or you may have to drill out the lock to get it off of the hitch.
