Can Road Armor Equalizer Replace Shorter Standard Equalizer
Question:
Looking at the Road Armor equalizer for a camper trailer. I have measured the original equalizer w/ a 6inch center hole width. But the vertical distance from the bottom spring link holes to the top hanger bolt on my equalizer measures only 1.75. Will I need to install a shorter center equalizer hanger to match the the differance between my 1.75inch measurement and the new equalizer at 3.25?

You won't need to install a completely new hanger to make up the difference between your 1-3/4" height and the 3-1/4" height of the Road Armor Shock Absorbing Equalizer Kitt # LC696740.
What you can do is just use longer shackle straps, and while I don't know how long yours are, most are generally 2-1/4" so you can go with the 3-1/8" Shackle Strap # TRSL313 or for upgraded 3-1/8" straps and wet bolts use the Lippert AP Kit - Tandem Axle Road Armor Wet Bolts and Shackles # LC52SV.
