What is the optimum angle for shackles on a tandem axle 7000# 27inch x 1 3/4inch 3500 lb eye to eye leaf springs

There isn't an exact angle to go off of when it it comes to shackle straps, but we try to them to sit in a 'W' shape to allow for the suspension to travel without binding up. Depending on the length of the shackle straps the angle can vary a bit so it's a bit of a guessing game to get it perfect.

If you're replacing your shackle straps, equalizers, or leaf springs you'll want to make sure that you properly measure each component and get matching sizes to avoid any issues with the suspension binding up.
