Troubleshooting Brake Pedal of 2011 Ford F-350 That Causes Trailer Disconnect Message

My 2011 ford f350 super duty lariat 6.7 dashboard saying trailer disconnected then when I push the brake it says trailer connected then when I release the brake the dashboard say trailer disconnected

This is due to corrosion on your 7-way connector pins. Take some sandpaper to all of the pins on both your trailer and your truck and you'll see the problem go away.
