After Installing Trailer Wiring Harness # 118491 on 2010 Honda Pilot the 4-Way has No Power

Question:

new harness has no power, do i need to go to Honda to power up the harness via the computer?

Once you have installed the large gray converter, all 5 fuses, the relay, and the 4-Way the harness should work. It is possible that if one of the fuses or relays is not in the right place or is blown that the harness will not work. You should not have to have the computer reset or flashed or anything to make the harness work.

I suspect that something is either in the wrong place or a fuse is blown. I recommend removing everything and then disconnecting the negative battery cable. Then reinstall everything with the last step being reconnecting the negative battery cable. If it still is not working the there is likely something wrong inside the converter and it will need to be replaced.
