Recommended Bearing Kit for a 84 Spindle w/ L44649 and L68149 Bearings  

Question:

How do I determine what spindle I have on my trailer axle? I believe the bearing kit item# BK2-100 is what I need based off of bearing size numbers I have which are L44649 and L68149 with seal outer diameter of 2.56

Look for a part number or measure the spindle with a digital caliper like item # PTW80157.

If you pulled bearings off with the numbers item # L44649 and item # L68149 you are correct you will need the Hub Bearing Kit for Lippert, Dexter, and AL-KO Axles - 3,500 lb with #84 Spindle item # BK2-100.

I recommend using LubriMatic LMX Industrial Strength Grease item # L11390 to repack your bearings. You will want to grab one tube per axle. If you need a grease gun you will want to use item # L30200 and I strongly recommend using a bearing packer item # ALL647646 to not only make the job easier but it saves time hand packing the bearings.
