The Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Brake Controller # 90885 and the quick-connect harness # 3020-P that you referenced are a correct fit for the 2002 Dodge Ram that is equipped with a factory-installed 7-way trailer connector at the rear of the truck.
If your Ram pickup has a 4-pole trailer connector but not a factory-installed 7-way trailer connector then you will need at least one additional component to complete the brake controller installation. You will need the # ETBC7 Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controllers to provide the vehicle 7-way socket, circuit breakers, wire and connectors. This kit includes a tester to help identify the functions carried by each wire on the vehicle. I have linked an installation video showing this kit in a 2001 Ram.
If your Ram does not have the 4-pole connector either, you will then also need a wiring harness to provide one. Once in place the 4-pole plugs into the 7-way that is supplied in the # ETBC7. I have include a link to our page for wiring harnesses where you can use the drop-down menu to select the style of Ram you have to see suitable wiring harnesses. If you have a 2500 or 3500 you can use # 118329 which is a plug-in harness that requires no cutting of wires.
I also linked articles that cover the process of installing a brake controller and the ETBC7.
