Hitch Pin Recommendation for Curt Heavy Duty Forged Ball Mount for 2-1/2" Trailer Hitch Receivers
Question:
Should I get a regular pin or a locking one for this?

I recommend securing the Curt Heavy Duty Forged Ball Mount # C83JR to the 2-1/2" hitch receiver on your truck with a locking pin as it adds more peace of mind to your towing setup.
The etrailer Hitch Receiver Lock # e98881 is a great solution for this as it's easy to use and it does a great job at resisting rust and corrosion. I actually have a friend who left this on her vehicle for a few years and she said it still works good as new even after being exposed to all sorts of weather.
