Highest Capacity Trailer Tire for 16 inch Trailer Wheel

Question:

I have a 2019 Jaco pinnacle. They came equipped with good year endurance 16 inch tires. I have had 2 blowouts and ordered 4 new tires in which I have received another blow out. The side walls do not look even . Good year Insist that thats the way theyre Manufactured. I want to go to a 17 inch 16 Ply heavy duty tire. But I have been told that the lugs are only half inch. And the 17 inch truck tire uses a larger lug. Is there a solution to getting a safe heavier ply tire so I will not be worried about blowouts like we have with the stocked Goodyear endurance. I have not over packed the fifth wheel but it seems the recommended Good Year is rated for 4080 lbs my gross weight in the Pinnacle is 16995. Do I have to change the brake drums to get the larger lugs or is there a 16 inch 14 or better Ply to handle the weight? Thanks for information I can trust.

I would need to know what your axle capacity is to see what it would take to go up to the larger size. But I would also need to know what bolt pattern you have. It does seem that you are a little over capacity so that would be what I would think is the issue.

We do have a 16 inch trailer tire that has a 4,400 lb capacity with the Provider part # TTWPRG235R16 which is a Load Range G and is size ST235/85R16.
