Is There A Replacement Hitch Ball Available For A Gooseneck Hitch With A 2" Diameter Hole
Question:
I have a 1999 Dodge Ram 3500 with a flatbed. I just bought it and the gooseneck ball was missing. It has a removable ball for the gooseneck hitch. I am having trouble finding a replacement ball for this truck. The hole for the ball is 2” diameter and it’s 2.5” from where the shoulder of the ball would sit to the bottom of the hole. I saw a couple with 3.5” shanks, but this doesn’t leave much room for the nut and washer to be installed. Is this something you can help me with? Thanks for your help!

The # BWHB94009 you were looking at is designed for use on ball mounts and wouldn't be the right option for your gooseneck hitch. Unfortunately a lot of older model Dodge Rams had this smaller gooseneck hitch installed and we currently don't offer a compatible replacement. The only solution I can offer would be to replace your current hitch with the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch for Flatbed Trucks # BWGNRK1500.
