Parts Needed to Add 7-Way to 2010 Nissan Pathfinder LE With Factory 4-Way
Question:
Hello- I have a 2010 Nissan Pathfinder LE V6 4x4 vehicle. This vehicle comes with the factory tow package but is only a 4-flat. Im looking to convert to a 7-round/blade connector and add a brake controller. It seems the Tekonsha 90195-3050-P is pretty popular. Im planning to grab that, but am not sure what other product is needed - I think I need something like the Curt T-Connector C56226 but just wouldnt use the relay harness and would just replace the 4-flat connector with the 7-round? Im just looking for someone to confirm the correct part for the back of the vehicle to change from 4-flat to 7-round. Thank you!

You're on the right track with the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package # C56226. However, you will use everything that comes with it when you replace the 4-way on your 2010 Nissan Pathfinder. This includes the wiring harness with the relays. Once installed, you will have a fully functioning 7-way that will allow you to use a brake controller.
The Tekonsha P3 # 90195 is one of the most popular brake controllers around and is a great choice. It is also incredibly reliable. The # 3050-P will plug into the junction box beneath the dash on your Pathfinder to complete the installation.
