Comparing Tekonsha Prodigy P2 and P3 Trailer Brake Controllers
Question:
what is the difference between prodigy 2 and 3
asked by: Norman V
Helpful Expert Reply:
The main difference between the Prodigy P2 # 90885 and Prodigy P3 # 90195 is the screens. The P2 has a more traditional screen with the simple numbers and dots. The P3 has a LCD screen which provides for a customizable read out. It also allows the controller to tell you what is wrong if you should have an issue rather than having to find the manual to determine what the combination of dots and numbers will mean.
Both controllers are proportional, work with electric or electric over hydraulic brakes and will support trailers with up to 4 braking axles.
