Can Flat Towing Components From A 2016 Subaru Impreza Be Transferred To A 2023 Jeep Wrangler 4xe
Question:
Currently I have a blue ox tow bars and base plates for my 2016 Subaru Impreza + Duo Demco stay in play. Can I transfer any of this to my 2023 Jeep Wrangler Sahara 4xe?

You won't be able to transfer over the baseplate but you will be able to reuse the tow bar and a majority of the Demco Stay-In-Play # SM99251. You'll just need the reinstall kit # SM6270 and the Roadmaster Stop Light Switch Kit # RM23MR for your braking signal to be able to swap the system over to the Wrangler. To be able to use the Blue Ox tow bar you'll want to use install the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BX1139 that you were already looking at.
You'll also need a tail light wiring kit like the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267, unless you have ParkSense Proximity Sensors. If you do you'll need to switch to smart diodes and go with part # RM63MR instead.
