Trailer Lights Dont Work With C56320 But Once Did

Question:

I have a 2018 ford escape sel. I installed a curt 56320 trailer wiring harness for lights on a 8ft utility trailer. It worked perfect the first time I used it but now the only things that work are the running lights. No brake or turn signals.

Thank you for your purchase directly from etrailer of the Curt wiring harness as we are happy to help our customers. If only your running lights work now but everything worked previously the issue is almost certainly a faulty ground. You'll also need to make sure your grounds are attached to bare metal surfaces and free of any paint, dirt or corrosion.

Additionally, to help prevent any type of corrosion in your connector, and increase its durability and lifespan I highly recommend using Dielectric Grease for Electrical Connectors # 11755.
