Troubleshooting 2011 Subaru Forester Tekonsha T-One Wiring Harness
Question:
Tekonsha harness on 2011 forester. It appears the connection between the harness and car does not close the circuit even though the connector is fully clicked in. Any suggestions?

The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118467 for your 2011 Subaru Forester has a mini fuse you might want to start off checking to ensure the module is getting power, and then there is also a fuse (I believe in position 1 of your fuse box but you need to verify that on your end) on your Forester that would be worth checking to make sure it is in good shape to send power back to the trailer light functions.
Aside from that the next best thing is to test the various pins for light and power functions on your Forester side connector with a circuit tester # PTW2993. If the functions are working properly then that means the T-One is malfunctioning and needs to be replaced (under warranty) but if you don't see those functions there then you'll want to have a Subaru dealer look at that OEM wiring or you'll have to install a universal wiring kit like the Curt # C59236 which splices in behind your tail lights.
