Since your 2022 Chevy Equinox has the factory tow package, you will need the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector item # C94FR. This custom-fit T-connector plugs into your Equinox's wiring harness, which is located behind the center of the rear bumper. This harness will provide you with a 4-way connector that will control your trailer or accessories lighting functions.

I recommend using the No-Drill Mount Bracket item # 18136 and the item # C42CR to secure the 4-way connector to your hitch. This will put it in an easy to reach spot and prevent the risk of it falling onto the road.
