Will The Draw-Tite or Curt Trailer Hitch Receivers Fit a 2014 Toyota Avalon Hybrid?  

Question:

2014 toyota avalon HYBRID....2.0 liter....what hitch AND wiring would work? I see the CURT and DrawTite for the gas engine no mention of the hybrid

Both the Draw-Tite # 36540 and Curt # C12107 trailer hitch receivers will fit your 2014 Toyota Avalon hybrid. I recommend going with the Curt # C12107 as I have noticed their finishes tend to be more durable. It is also made here in the USA. Curt recommends either the 2" Ball # C45572 or 1-7/8" Ball # C45571 if you plan on towing. The Master Lock Set # 3794DAT will allow you to secure your trailer to your Avalon while towing.

I do recommend installing the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118578 when you install the receiver. This will give you a 4-way flat wiring connector. This will allow you to connect to most small trailers. It will also allow for Auxiliary Lights # C53201 if using a hitch mounted accessory such as a bike rack which impairs the view of your tail lights when loaded.
