Where Does the Tow Ready Trailer Wiring Harness part # 118547 Install on a 2013 Nissan Quest
Question:
If I understand, this harness will be set up entirely in the back of the vehicle except for one wire that will go directly to the battery and a fuse in the fuse box. Is this correct? Thanks,

You are absolutely correct. The Tow Ready Wiring Harness part # 118547 that you referenced installs in the rear portion of your 2013 Nissan Quest. The two harnesses plug in line with your tail light wiring harness of your vehicle and then a power wire gets run up to the positive side of your battery.
I attached installation instructions for this product plus an FAQ article on running the power wire to the battery for you to check out.
