Troubleshooting Kwikee Steps Not Working on 2005 Winnebago Itasca Sunova

Question:

I have a 2005 Winnebago Itasca Sunova with a 2-step Kwikee unit part # 903209100 with controller #909510000. My steps stopped working. Theres an orange light that goes on and off with the door sensor. I checked the plug that feeds the controller and I have 12v to ground on two of the four wires. I pulled the plug from the motor and found no voltage there regardless of door sensor or orange light. Would this indicate I need a new controller or is there something else I could check? Thank you

The fact that you have power going into the controller and not coming out to the motor does indicate that the controller should be replaced. The correct replacement for your 909510000 is the # LC379146.
