Weight Distribution Shank to Replace 92-02-4100 with 3 inches More Drop

Question:

I have an ezhitch trunnion style weight distribution hitch with an 7 inch shank on a ford superduty f250 diesel I just raised by truck 3 inches and wondering if there is a longer shank recommended that I can use? I have part 92-02-4100 now with a 7 inch rise. Thanks

For a shank that would give you 3 inches more drop than what you have now you would want the Fastway part # FA92-02-4214.

You will have to go with a sliding hitch to allow the trailer to make tight turns. For a trailer 8 feet wide the only bed length that's going to allow 90 degree turns without a slider is a stationary hitch. That being said you have two options.…
