Troubleshooting A Ground Control 3.0 Leveling System Middle Jack That Won't Retract  

Question:

When retracting the Lippert 3. o stands on a GD Momentum G350, One of the center jacks fell/ped. Im new with a 5th Wheel, and Im unsure what to do.

If you're saying that your middle jack of your Ground Control 3.0 # LC675817 extended and won't allow you to retract it now then the first steps would be to see if you can raise that specific jack with your keypad first. If you're having an issue with a leg there will typically be an error code coming up on your keypad so we can see what the problem is.

If you're not getting an error code then the next step is going to be connecting your trailer to shore power to ensure the voltage to the system isn't the issue. Next you'll check the fuse on the controller # LC85ED for that leg to ensure that it's receiving power. You can also trace the wiring to ensure it's not cut, loose, or damaged in any way. If the leg has power and still isn't working then you'll want to manually retract it and then go through the Zero Point Calibration process to try and reset the system.
