Troubleshooting Brake-Lite Relay Kit Not Working for 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited
Question:
We have the Roadmaster Brakemaster installed on 2017 jeep wrangler jk unlimited along with the universal 4 diode wire kit AND the brake light relay rm88400. Were towing behind a 2019 entegra aspire with Spartan chassis that is pre-wired for towing. All jeep lights work in conjunction with the RV lights EXCEPT, even with the brake light relay installed as per your video, the jeep brake light overrides the turn signal when brake is activated. WHY??? Please help.

The Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-88400 will keep the brake signal from your 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited overriding your turn signals so if the brakes are still overriding the turn signals then that means the unit wasn't properly installed, or the relay or fuse is bad and needs to be replaced.
According to my research your Jeep should have a normally open application so you'll want to follow and re-check those instructions (see attached).
