Will Upgrading to a 50A Service Allow Me to Get Rid of an Electronic Climate Control Manager

Question:

I have a 2004 Bounder motor home with dual a/cs, dual furnaces, microwave, and a propane/electric water heater with 30-amp service. It uses a Intellitec power management system. My problem is with the ECC unit due to the 30-amp service. Often it creates an erratic clicking noise caused by an internal solenoid I believe. Also, at times it will turn on one or both furnaces while the furnaces are in the off possition, regardless of ambient temperature. Ive been told that this happens due to electrical wave interference. The ECC is near the current electrical panel mounted in a cabinet at head height. The WFCO 65-amp power converter is mounted on the floor in the cabinetry almost 5 feet below the power panel. I realize the ECC sheds power from the above-mentioned appliances depending upon their hierarchy in the programming. Id like to upgrade to 50-amp service, particularly if it gets rid of the ECC unit. Will going to 50-amp service get rid of the ECC unit? From what Ive read here on your site, the PD4560KI18LS8 sounds like a good replacement for my panel and converter. Am I correct? If there is any additional information you think I need, send it my way. Thanks for any information.

I did some research on the ECC because I hadn't really heard of it before and I was able to find out that the ECC is strictly designed for use with 30A services according to the owner's manual. So, upgrading to 50A would effectively get rid of the ECC as it wouldn't be compatible.

With that being said, the Progressive Dynamics 4500 Series RV Converter w/ Charge Wizard and AC/DC Distribution Panel # PD4560K18LS8 would be a nice upgrade providing a 60A converter output.

This converter charger is compatible with 12V battery systems, has a rated output power of 810 watts, and a 240 VAC AC distribution rating.
