Question:

Power Converter failed. The 12 V battery system is not charging by shore power This is on a 2017 Outdoors RV Glacier Peak F26RKS with 50 AMP shore powere. There are two air conditioner unitis installed. Model number of Power Converter with Distributor is WF-9990 by WFCO. Will #PD9260C be capable of replacing the converter portion as far as specifications/capability? Im running 2 6V deep cycle batteries wired in series Trojan T105

The WFCO WF-9990 has a 90 amp converter in it so the only option we currently offer to match that rating is the Progressive Dynamics 4500 Series RV Converter w/ Charge Wizard and AC/DC Distribution Panel - 90 Amp # PD4590K18LS8, which would replace the entire power center. Batteries can only accept so many amps at a time so a 90 amp converter is a bit overkill for your setup and would be more useful with a larger battery bank.

You definitely could unwire your current converter and and wire in a dedicated outlet and circuit breaker to power the Progressive Dynamics PD9200 Series Battery Converter Charger with Charge Wizard # PD9260C to recharge your batteries though. This model just wouldn't have the same amperage capacity as your current converter, which in your case isn't really a deal breaker since Trojan lists the T105 as having a maximum 75 amp charge rate.
