Replacement Axle Options For AL-KO 4,400LB Axles w/ 85" Hub Face, 6 on 5-1/2" Bolt Pattern w/ Brakes
Question:
I need a replacement axle on my 2013 24 travel trailer. It got bent due to a road pothole. The original axle mfg, AL-CO is no longer in business. What Dextar axle will match the following AL-CO axle: AL-KO part #403368 T44 655 ULE W/PP4 4,400# axle weight capacity 85/68.5TM axle measurements 6 on 5.5 hub Im looking to upgrade to either 5,200# or 6,000# axle kits including hubs/electric brakes Thanks

The closest axles we have are 86-1/2" hub face to hub face in either a 5,200LB # 8327816-EB or 6,000LB # 8327826-EB. This would require you to have an additional 3/4" of width added on each side of your travel trailer so you will need to measure it to verify you will still have the 1" of sidewall clearance needed if you have any outer fender lips which would cause an issue. You will need to have 4 new spring Seats # TRSS300 welded on to your 68.5" spring center.
To get a matching size Dexter axle you will need to have an axle custom ordered from your local Dexter dealer as we do not carry any with a 85" hub face measurement.
