Troubleshooting Installing MORryde X Factor Crossmember Where Bolts Won't Go All the Way Flush

Question:

Im installing Morydex-factor crossmembers on my 2022 Grand Design Reflection Fifth Wheel. I am putting crossmembers on rear and center hangers. Im installing rear crossmember and when I installed new wet bolts on hanger bracket I cannot get wet bolts to go flush. I am placing socket over bolt and hitting pretty hard and they will not go flush to hanger. The original wet bolts had the grease fitting on the inside. The xfactor requires the wet bolt to be on the outside of the hanger, could that make a difference. It is both bolts that will not go flush. What do you recommend. I want to resolve this issue before I proceed to completely install both crossmembers. Thanks

It's hard to say without knowing which bolts you have but if you can reverse the directions of the bolts that sounds like it's the problem. It would be worth checking at least to see if the bolts will go all the way flush going in from the opposite direction. Especially if the hole diameters are different on either side of the hangers.
