Curt Trailer Hitch vs. etrailer Trailer Hitch For 2023 Ford Transit Connect
Question:
what is the difference between the curt trailer hitch and etrailer trailer hitch for 2023 ford transit connect?

There is just a single difference between the Curt and etrailer trailer hitches that fit your 2023 Ford Transit Connect, which is the finish. The Curt has a glossier finish than the matte black finish of the etrailer hitch, so you can choose which you prefer. The hitches that fit your '23 Ford Transit Connect are the following part numbers:
- etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e77AR
- Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13167
The matte black finish is nice as it hides the inevitable dings, scuffs and scratches better than the glossy finish, but if you don't feel strongly either way about the finish, then just go with the best price. Otherwise, these are the exact same hitch with the same 3,500 lb towing/525 lb tongue weight capacities and simple bolt-on installation.
If you also plan on towing and need a 4-way wiring harness for your Transit Connect, the correct part is the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118613.
