Is 10k Curt MV Weight Distribution Too Wide For V-Nose Trailer
Question:
I am buying a 2018 Legend 7x17x2 vnose enclosed trailer. the frame seems very narrow. is this too wide for that trailer? I am pulling it with a 2022 Honda Passport. Will this work for me?

Expert Reply:
The 10,000 lb Curt MV Weight Distribution System # C17052 isn't too wide for your trailer but it may be too long. A lot of times with V-nose trailers what ends up happening is you have to install Chain Hangers for Curt Weight Distribution Systems - Bolt On # C17005 on your trailer frame.
The arms of the # C17052 are 31-1/2" long so you'll need about that much distance on your frame rearwards to use the system, otherwise you'll need to use the chain hangers.
Then for a hitch ball use part # C40008.
