Replacement Hardware for Yakima SlimShady Awnings High or Low Mount

Question:

Will the heavy nuts and cap screws work as replacements for the Yakima slim shady alternative high/low mounting brackets? I believe the heavy-duty nuts are m8, but I’m not sure about the cap screw length.

The correct replacement hardware for the Mounting Brackets for Yakima SlimShady Awnings - High or Low Mount # Y84AR is the following:

- Replacement Hardware # Y84EV

The kit you referenced is for the Yakima ladder racks so it has different hardware than what you're needing.

The Replacement Mounting Hardware for Recovery Tracks for Yakima Ladder Racks part #Y83FR uses M8 hardware per Yakima.

We do offer replacement nut plates in a hardware bag, part #Y83FR. Yakima doesn't offer the nut plates separately.
