Where to Install Wiring Bracket for 2022 Ford Ranger Demco Base Plate Kit
Question:
The kit came with a bracket, part #5937, Item 7 on the instruction sheet. The instructions dont mention where or how that bracket is to be installed. My Ranger has the Radar cruise control and I dont want to incorrectly mount the bracket. Can you indicate where and how it should be mounted please?

The plug mount that comes with the Demco Tabless Base Plate Kit # DM9519343 can basically be installed anywhere on the front of your 2022 Ford Ranger, which is why Demco doesn't give instructions for this.
We normally install the bracket in the grill of the vehicle (see attached photo on a 2019 Ford Ranger) which should be in-line with your sensors for the cruise control, so it shouldn't be affecting them.
I'm also attaching our install video of this base plate kit as well as the Roadmaster Wiring Kit # RM-152-98146-7 (which has a similar bracket) on a 2021 Ranger for you to reference.
