How to Upgrade to ST205/75R14 Tires From F65-14 on Older Boat Trailer With Only 1" Fender Clearance
Question:
I need to replace my old f65-14st tires on my trailstar boat trailer but a 205/75/14 is 2” larger which means I need another 1” each way but there’s no room in the fender. I’m stumped.

There are a couple options to switch to a Karrier ST205/75R14 Radial Trailer Tire # AM10235 on your Trailstar boat trailer. Since you only have 1" of clearance on your fenders you can either raise the height of the trailer or switch to different size fenders. We have lift kits like the Correct Track # LC87120 which will allow you to raise the trailer height 1-1/4 or 2-1/4" if you have double eye leaf springs. If you have a different suspension type or would rather switch to larger fenders please send me some more information/images on your trailer.
