Recommended bike Rack For Heavy E-Bikes On A 2022 Subaru Forester

I have a 2022 Subaru Forester with a 2inch hitch. Is this bike platform rack a good option for e-bikes? I would like to eventually get an e-bike and wondered if this platform rack is able to handle it. Thanks.

The Thule T2 Pro X Bike Rack for 2 Bikes # TH83GC would be a fit for your 2022 Subaru Forester's 2" receiver tube, but it only has a 50lb per bike capacity. With most e-bikes being around 60-80lbs you might have a hard time transitioning to an e-bike without having to purchase another bike rack.
Instead I recommend the Hollywood Racks RV Rider Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes # HLY64FR. This bike rack has an 80lb per bike capacity and wheel hoops that are designed to fit tire widths up to 5" without needing to purchase a separate adapter. This rack is also rated for use on 5th wheel trailers and flat towed vehicles, unlike the # TH83GC.
