Replacement Tail Light Needed for a Kara Trailer Hauling a 2004 Boston Whaler 150 Sport
Question:
I have a 2004 Boston Whaler 150 sport, Kara trailer. I need to replace the tail light/ brake lights. I see a part number on the right side of 6554-tw. Cant get the left side off just yet without breaking it.

I could not find any information on a trailer light with part # 6554-tw, however, I did some research on your trailer and other trailers for the Boston Whaler 150 Sport and it looks like they use the rectangular submersible trailer lights like the Wesbar Low Profile Trailer Light, # 403026, that you referenced. This is the left side light, for the right side light, you will want part # 403076.
To determine if these lights will work with your existing light brackets without drilling new holes, I have attached a photo that shows the mounting slots and mounting bolts for these trailer lights.
If you can send me the serial number or VIN for your trailer, I would be happy to contact the trailer manufacturer to see what specific trailer lights they used on that particular trailer. This information can be found on the identification plate typically found on the trailer tongue.
