Will the Malone Profile 18B Cargo Carrier Fit on My 2022 Ram ProMaster City
Question:
Hi! Im trying to figure out if the Malone luggage box will fit on my Ram promaster city with Van tech J1000 ladder rack. The bars are elliptical on top, flat on bottom. The dimensions of the bars fit the dimensions specified on the Malone product page. My primary concern is the space in front of the front bar. The bar spacing/placement is not adjustable. The spread between the bars is 35. When the box is on the front two bars, which are 35inch apart, how much space in front of the front-most bar will the box require? There is a max of 18inch available because of the antenna. Please see attached picture, which is identical to my set up. Thanks!

Since the Malone Profile18B Rooftop Cargo Box # MPG911 can be adjusted on the crossbars there is not a set number for how much clearance is needed since it can change.
What can be said is that since you have a 35" crossbar spread this box will work great with your current setup and if I'm being honest if you're not using the rearmost crossbar for anything I'd just use the back two crossbars and not worry about it.
Also, this box measures 78-3/4" long x 32-3/8" wide x 15-3/4" tall so you can make a mental note of that as well. Attached is a snippet from the install instructions that goes into positioning the box on your crossbars so you can see what I'm talking about.
