Recommended Tow Bar Wiring Kit For 2023 Ford Bronco
Question:
Whats happenin'! I recently got a new 2023 Bronco and I am in need of a tow bar wiring kit for the brake lights. I already have my base plate and tow bar and stuff, I just need the wiring kit. I would like to get a new umbilical cord also. Thanks!

We have just the thing!
Most of the 2023 Bronco models will require use of a smart diode. It depends on what lighting system your Bronco has. If your vehicle has the variable voltage LED lighting you will want the # RO44FR. If it has incandescent lighting you will need the # RO94FR. The type of lighting will be specified in your owners manual. The Bronco LED lights look very different from the incandescent. The LEDs will have a clear lens with red behind, while the incandescent has a red/white textured lens. If it is neither of those you can use the # RM-152 for standard lighting.
From there I recommend getting the # RM-146-7. This will come with a new 8' coiled cable, and a 6-pin plug to mount on the front of the towed vehicle. I really like these Roadmaster diode kits for tow bar wiring. The didoes will prevent any feedback and are relatively easy to install. Once all of this is installed you will just plug in your coiled cable and you are good to go.
I have linked an install video and instructions below for you to take a look at.
