Replacing 18" Florescent Tube Lights On a 2007 Winnebago Journey 36 With LED Bulbs

Question:

2007 Winnebago Journey 36. I have 3 overhead Thin-Lite 766 recessed Fluorescent fixtures. I measured the current tubes which come in at about 17.5inch tip to tip. With these at 18inch they seem to be a bit too long... Also are the pins on these inert, just there to secure these in place? Do I need to remove the current wiring/ballast from the fixtures or just connect these to the existing wiring before the ballast?

The 18" T8 LED Light Bulb # DI73VR is going to be the correct light for your 2007 Winnebago Journey 36 with your current tubes measuring 17-1/2". The pins on the light tubes are only for securing the bulb in the fixture. They will not send any power to the lights. The new lights include wiring which will allow you to remove your current ballasts. Then you will be able to wire in the new lights to the power wires which powered the ballasts. These lights are a warm white color which will have a yellow hue. We also have them in Cool White # DI83VR which will have more of a white appearance if you prefer that look.
