According to the owner's manual for the 2023 Chevy Suburban, you'll need to disconnect the battery once it's in flat-tow mode. This should prevent any power draw on the battery while using the flat tow wiring.
We like to recommend installing the Roadmaster Battery Disconnect with Switch # RM-766 for vehicles that require disconnecting the battery that way disconnecting the battery is as easy as pressing a button when it comes time to flat tow.
