Will the Q-Clips Q-102 fit Older Yakima Q-Towers

I spoke with my contact at Yakima and he informed me that the discontinued Q102 Q-Clips that you referenced will work with the Q-towers you bought around 2001. He also said that for your 2004 Chevy Malibu Maxx you would need two sets of these clips, and as long as your crossbars are long enough you would be good to go.

The recommended crossbar length for your vehicle is 58 inches. If your current bars aren't long enough and you needed a set you would want the Round 58 inch Crossbars part # Y00409.

If you aren't able to find those discontinued Q-Clip parts, then I recommend the Inno roof rack consisting of:
