Can the Curt A16 for an OEM Puck Package Be Used on Industry Standard Rails?

Hi. I have a 2002 GMC Sierra. If I purchase this rail kit Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit for Chevy/GMC - Carbide Finish Item # C16418-204 Can I mount the Curt 16kslider 5th Wheel Hitch model 16675 to the rail kit Thanks

The Curt 16675 you're referring to is only going to work with select Ford F-250s, F-350s and F-450s with a 6-3/4' bed and the OEM puck system.

The Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit for Chevy/GMC # C16418-204 you're interested in are industry standard rails or ISR for short. While this is the most commonly used style of 5th wheel mounting rails, they are different from the OEM puck system and in turn will not be compatible with the Curt 16675 you mention.

Instead, for these style of rails you'd need to use the Curt A16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ R16 Slider # C16521. This is going to be the exact same hitch as 16675 but this one is going to work with ISR.
