How to Test Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Towed Vehicles
Question:
Hi. The RM 25-156 charge line to battery. My question. To test I should get 12 DC volts at the wire going from the 6 wire center plug, as long as the motor home, is running, key on, or is there power without key on. Thank you Thank you

To test the # RM-156-25 and make sure it is functioning properly you can follow the steps from the instructions.
•With the charge line connected from the motorhome to the towed vehicle and the motorhome engine running, disconnect the red wire from the towed vehicle’s positive battery post.
• Connect a volt meter or test light from the red wire to the towed vehicle’s ground.
• If the volt meter or test light indicates 12 VDC+, the charge line is functioning
