Should I go with the Emergency Shut Down Version Portable Power Watchdog

I am trying to decide if I need the automatic shutoff option for a 30 amp RV surge protector. Thank you!

I would say that if you are using somewhat inconsistent power either from a generator or RV park and you have electronic equipment that you'll be powering that you care about I would definitely go with the auto shut down version of the Portable Watchdog Surge Protector part # HU67FR over the part # HU97FR.
