Availability Of Drop Shank For Fastway e2 1000lb Weight Distribution Hitch
Question:
I have a Fastway trunion style e2Hitch for a travel trailer that has a loaded weight of 6,500 pounds and a tongue weight of 750 pounds - I have 1,000 pound spring arms for the setup. My hitch for the setup is to short - I inverted the shank and the trailer is still not level with the tow vehicle. The length of the shank is 12 inches long while the section that the hitch head bolts to is 9 inches. I have the hitch head bolted to the last two holes. The coupler height for the level trailer is 19-1/2 inches while the tow vehicle hitch height is 20-1/4 inches. Please help me identify which shank would be appropriate to level the trailer with the tow vehicle. Thank you for your help!

You're going to need the Equal-i-zer # EQ90-02-4200 which will replace your existing shank, and give your at least 2 more inches of drop which should get you just about perfectly level.
