Is There a Trailer Hub for An Axle with 1-3/8" Inner and Outer Bearing

Question:

Hi, I need to replace a hub assembly on a 1 3/8 inner and outer straight axel. I am unable to find anything like that on your website. Do you have anything like that. Thanks for your reply.

The L68149 bearing measures 1.378" and is commonly used on the inner bearing slot. The outer bearing is then usually a L44649 which measures 1.063". Unfortunately, we don't have any hubs which use two L68149 (1.378") bearings. That said, it concerns me when you use fractions to measure bearings as these measurements need to be taken with a caliper to the nearest thousandth of an inch. If you're holding a ruler or tape measure to the bearing and or spindle you'll need get the right parts. Therefore, I recommend remeasuring using the proper tool. If it turns out the initial measurements are correct we don't have any hubs for that so only option would be a new axle.

In order to choose the correct replacement axle for a trailer you'll first want to start with the weight capacity. The weight capacity can be found on the axle tag in the center of the beam. Then, you'll need to measure the hub face (center of hub face to center of hub face) and spring center (center of spring center to center of spring center). This will then give you the info needed to pick out the correct replacement axle for your trailer. I have also attached a video I did to help others with this same thing so be sure to give that a watch.

The Trailer Axle Beam part # e38GR for example is a 3,500 lb axle which measures measures 89" long at the hub face and 74" at the spring center though these can be moved. I have attached a full list of all our other axles you can choose from once you have the info above.
